Low voltage retrofit kit designed to replace incandescent light source in existing non-insulated 6" diameter recessed housings. Conversion kit with required low voltage trim allows user to replace incandescent medium base lamp with 12V, 50W PAR36/AR111 light source.

Nora Lighting's Low Voltage Retrofit Kits provide an easy and affordable solution to convert existing standard 6" incandescent housings to high performance low voltage halogen fixtures. Kits are available for PAR36/AR111 light sources and require the use of a low voltage trim for either light source. Ideal for instantly changing general lighting to halogen spot and accent effects.

Transformer:
Pre-mounted to socket plate, 120V input, 12V output with PAR36 or AR111 light source. Quick installation screw base to medium socket included.

Minimum Clearances:
NLK Retrofit kits are intended only for use as non-IC components and upon installation, the housing used for the kit must maintain minimum clearances of 3" from thermal insulation and 1/2" from adjacent building components.

Socket:
Spade connectors compatible with PAR36/AR111 screw terminals.
